Gainsborough flow control valve 5605610

I am considering repairing my electric shower, which has a leaking flow control valve. Please can you describe the procedure and tools required to replace the flow control valve on the Gainsborough Soleiro.

After disconnecting the power and water, remove the front cover.

Remove the clear pipe from the top of the flow valve.

Remove the single screw that holds the valve to the back body.

Push the valve upwards to remove it from the solenoid and outlet valve to the can.

Replacement is a reverse of the above.

It is easier if the two “o” rings, one on the outlet pipe and one on the solenoid are fitted to these rather than inside the valve its self.
