Bit of a head scratcher.

Hiya I'm having a real head scratcher with my Galaxy Aqua 3000 shower which I could use some help with. The water is not getting hot. Feels slightly warm when set to 10 and full heating on. I've checked the resistance of the heating elements and they sit at 11 ohms which I assume is fine. The tco is buzzing out most the time but sometimes not. I tried bypassing this as a test but still not hot. The water is flowing as normal I assume. Looks ok. I've looked at the micro switches and both seem OK. I've tested that the work with a multimeter and can see they both engage when the power is on. Just as a note, this only came up after my lass cleaned the shower head. Btw.. It's a 9.5 kW version. Any ideas would be greatly apriciated!! Thanks James

Sounds like you have checked all the obvious but one thing isn't right.

You say that both elements are 11ohms which leads me to suspect that you aren't reading them correctly.

In most showers the elements have an uneven output for example an 8 kw shower will have a 5kw and a 3kw element therefore the resistance readings will be different.

So to cut a long story short .....At this moment in time I think you have a faulty element.
