galaxy 300si replaced tco but burnt that out within 6moinths

i replaced the tco but new one broke within 6monthes,i asked for free replacement, but was told if was getting odd noise after the shower use, like kettle boiling. i have been told that a relay is faulty but iv no idea how to identify & fix or replace the relay. shower is running cold.

I think you have a micro switch stuck in the on position when you switch off your shower one micro switch keeps the power on to one of the elements and because the shower starts to overheat the TCO switches the power off , when the shower cools the TCO allows the power back through to the elements, when it heats up the TCO switches the power off, the continual cycling wares the TCO out.
