Digitemp shower getting too hot

Our Galaxy Digitemp shower is about 6 years old and is now getting too hot and shutting down with an E sign on the handset. Please advise what has failed and if we can buy a spare part to get it working gain or will we have to scrap it?

First check that the inlet filters are clean and clear.

After that it becomes more of a job for a professional as it could be a number of things that are wrong all of which are expensive and often the only way to check if a part is faulty is by substitution.which means you have to have all the parts available to fit and remove them as required.
