Shower runs then cuts out

Recently the shower has developed a problem. The shower will turn on and run as usual. However the battery symbol flashes to say replace batteries. after about 3-4 mins the shower stops and will not start again. Ok simple change the batteries, no. New batteries but same problem. I've removed the front of the unit and you can hear what sounds like the solenoid on the cold water inlet humming when it stops. I've contacted the. Manufacturers direct who said it could be the 1- solenoid 2- controller 3-PCB 4- thermal link 5- all of the above Obviously tech support have o levels in stating the bloody obvious. Any advise would be greatfully received as I don't want to be paying out for all of the above when it could be a simple and cost affective fix. Kind regards

From your description I would agree with the advice you already have!

However......These digital units can be expensive to repair as a DIY job. Soooo My advice would be to replace the two solenoid coils

Not the completer valves just the coils

The coils are the most common fault and relatively cheap if this doesn't fix it then I would consider replacing the complete processing unit
