Fails to operate

Hi. I have a galaxy aqua digitemp shower, model number 46-678066. Worked perfectly until today. Pressed start, handset lights up showing full battery power but displaying the letter 'L' and none operation. The unit does not kick in. Have checked the power supply and fuse, all okay so power is applied to the main unit. Would appreciate assistance as to whether it is repairable or do I need to replace the unit completely. Regards

Regardless of what it says try replacing the batteries if that doesn't fix it then check the solenoids......Outlet one first.
