Galaxy Aqua Digitemp Thermastatic Mixer Shower

Can not reduce water temperature too hot by using remote control
Asked 3 years ago by Roy Snape, Birmingham
I know this is almost too obvious but remote batteries?

The problem with this is it is a difficult DIY repair unless there is something obviously wrong, we would fault find by substitution

I would first check the power supply, and then work our way through the unit checking things PCB, solenoids, power to pump, power to stepper, etc. until I find one that is receiving power but isn't working.
The issue is that a shower engineer will carry spares and fit and remove them as he works his way through the processor.
As a DIY job it is impossible to carry all these expensive parts.

Therefore in this case unless you have a good idea which part is faulty then I would call in a shower engineer.

If you want a guess then the Digi mix valve however some of the other spares are now discontinued I would so a repair may be difficult in the future
