Aura LX200 humming

Hi, our Galaxy Aura lx200 has started humming loudly when switched on at the mains but off on the shower - it starts quietly but gets progressively louder. It stops when the shower starts but starts again when you press stop. Before I order one, is this likely to be the coil on the solenoid? Thanks

It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve.

Sometimes a solenoid will hum if it is about to fail.
