Galaxy G1000 faulty?

So our G1000 makes a very loud buzzing noise if the water is left on for a while (like 10 minutes) especially if the water is very warm. Today it has started making that buzzing every 10 minutes or so and we can smell burning. Any ideas what's wrong with it? It might be on it's way out as we've had it since we moved in like 8 years ago.

The motor may be faulty and on its way out . You should not use the shower if you smell burning.
