My on off button is temperamental since an engineer opened to sort slight leak. Do I need to replace part no 2 or is it possible it's just not located properly???

My on off button is temperamental since an engineer opened to sort slight leak. Do I need to replace part no 2 or is it possible it's just not located properly?????

Turn the power off remove the front cover give it a visual check and replace the cover carefully making sure it lines up with the micro switch then keep your fingers crossed because the next step is a board and that's expensive.
