Dripping Unit

Hi, recently noticed water dripping from joint between front and rear casing when in use, only thing I can see is the larger of the two dials has two cracks in it. However when I remove the front cover and turn on the shower no water is dripping at all it only feels wet around the flow valve assembly where it meets the large dial could it just be the dial needs replacing ?

You may have a faulty flow valve that if you press it will leak. I would change the knob anyway as the cracks will cause a problem at some time.
