Galaxy G8000s shower not working

I have checked the power and all is OK but the shower will not work, no lights or anything. It was cutting out for a couple of weeks up to this point but has stopped working altogether now.

If you are getting 230-240v into the shower, I would check the TCO.

Electrical flow chart for most electricshowers.

Power comes in at terminal block.

Powerthen goes to 'in' side ofThermal Cut Out lead taken from herethrough on/off switch to solenoid valve.

Power from 'out'side of TCO goes to switches on/near the pressure switch, if there is water coming through thesolenoid valve the pressure switch will rise allowing the switches tomake.

If the switches makethey will let thepower through to the elements and if the elements areOK the shower should heat up.

If the shower over heats the TCO senses this and cuts of all the power other than thesolenoid, therefore allowingcold water through to cool the shower down.

Someshowers are slightlydifferent to this but most follow this basicprinciple.
