Shower overheats when turned off
One of the micro switches that control the power to the elements is stuck in the on position meaning that the element is energised all the time.
You will need to trace which switch is causing the problem and replace it.
In the mean time make sure that you switch the shower off at the pull cord switch whenever the shower is not in use.
