Sudden stoppage

Out shower was turned on fine then all of a sudden stopped working and clicked off is not not turning on.

At first thought it was electrical so checked fuses etc, all fine and took cover off and used electric metre which says the power to all wires is fine and working.

Then read most common problems and decided to order and change the solenoid valve and coil. I have done this and the shower is still not working.

I have noticed that even when power going through shower there is no power light although wire test says different.

Any clues as to the problem?

If when you switch the shower on the light in the pull cord switch goes out then it is likely that you need a new pull cord switch.
