Leaking shower

The shower has developed a leak from the top of the flow valve connector. I have obtained a new connector from yourselves to replace it but the existing one seems very tight on the valve and clearance to remove it is restricted. will I need to remove the whole unit or can it be replaced in situ?

You shouldn’t need to take the unit off the wall to fit this

However make sure that the power and water are off you will need to remove the screws for the solenoid and heating tank also slacken off the screws on the tube between the flow valve and pressure switch
