switch issue

Had no switch to full heat. opened cover and saw cam assembly wsa broken. Replaced this but still not working, shower goes to full heat about halfway between settings on dial but wont stay there. I suspect switch lever or microswitch problem but how easy are these to replace?

This is one of these things that you really need to see to work out the fault.

However to go over the common things.

If a switch starts to over heat it can warp the leavers so the leavers wont work properly, also there two small springs at the end of the leavers that hold what could be described as a little plastic bridging piece if they are out of place then the switching won't work properly.

Should you consider replacing the leavers be warned it is not an easy job.
