Microswitch

The selector switch on the front of the control box does not isolate the water supply - it continues to run unless the electricity supply is isolated. The shower works fine otherwise. Could this be a problem with a microswitch ?

It sounds like you have a faulty on/off switch not switching the power off to the solenoid valve

Thanks for that George, but whereabouts is the 'on/off' switch ??

Just had a closer look at my shower controls. I don't think my model has an on/off switch. There are 3 microswitches on the pressure switch assembly - could one of these replace the manual on/off button ?

Your post came from the page below which I presumed was your shower with the on/off switch on the top right hand side of the front cover.

If this is not your shower and you can't trace your shower if you send us a couple of photos we will try and trace it for you?

My shower does not have that on/off switch on the front cover - see my message below submitted at 2:42pm & photos attached

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the water stops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.
