This question is regarding Lefroy Brooks Dual Control - Shower Spares

Dual shower handle

Hi. As you see in pictures, the handle came off and we done seem to be able to drill the screw back. The screw looks very short. The home looks very shallow. Is it normal or do you think it's broken?

As far as I know , these handles push on, and you seem to be missing the plastic retainer that goes into the handle and holds it onto the flow valve.
