This question is regarding Lefroy Brooks Dual Control - Shower Spares

Lefroy Brooks Shower control

The handle moves from 2 o clock to 10 o clock to bring water through. The movement of this handle has become tighter & uneven but does perform its function. Is this a sign that something is wearing in the mechanism? it is like the one in your diagram with a big slotted screw holding the handle on. Many thanks

If the operation of the shower is becoming increasingly stiff then it sounds like the cartridge is wearing and will need replaced.

The on / off / flow cartridge to purchase does depend on the model of shower EG: exposed or recessed as you can see in the descriptions on the spares list for cartridge - www.showerdoc.com/lefroy-brooks-dual-control-shower-spares
