This question is regarding Grohe 47598 Cart Assy To Suit Bg34083ip - 47598000

Dripping shower

The shower drips from the shower head when turned off. Item 5 on the parts list is the cartridge which contains the valve mixer and closure for the water flow. The shower works fine in every respect but you cannot stop the flow if water. Is this the part I need?

Yes the cartridge will solve the problem.
