How do you test read switch when diconnected for aktive 75t shower pump
Asked 11 years ago by Anonymous
You can disconnect one of the wires from the pcb and if the pump stops this points to a faulty reed switch. You can test the reed switch by testing its continuity with a multi meter and a magnet. Another cause of a pump staying on is a stuck actuator or as previously mentioned a leak in the system. You can test for a leak by turning off the outlet valve from the pump.
