This question is regarding Grohe Grohterm 3000 19 665 Oval Concealed Thermostatic Shower Mixer - Shower Spares

First too hot now "dead"

During months the unit starts too hot and after a while the temperature is more convenient. Suddenly I can't open or close the valve anymore. The water is still flowing a bit so I had to close down the main valve of the house. Any idea?

From your description is sounds like you have two problems, one you need a new flow cartridge to stop the flow and two you need a new temperature cartridge to control the temperature.
