Shower Pump 96787466

I plan to buy Shower Pump 96787466 as a replacement for a Watermill Model BP100D (Product code AP029) as kindly advised by your engineer (who was most patient and helpful by the way). Mains power to the Watermill is only switched on when pump about to be used because if left on it will start-up (no water is able to come out of shower head as shower is turned off) whenever a tap is turned on. If this happens with the 96787466 what can be done to prevent the same problem?

From your description, it would seem that you have a cross over in the piping that is causing the pump to activate when a tap is turned on. That would mean that the tap is also fed by the pump.
