This question is regarding Sirrus Gummers Bsm4000 Opal Cartridge - SKON4000

SKON 4000 leaking shower

Replaced a 4 year old SKON 4000 cartridge on leaking shower element of a bather mixer tap around 6 months ago with a complete brand new SKON 4000 cartridge. Stopped drips etc for 3 months then shower started dripping again and getting progressively worse. Also water dribbling out of the central screw which retains the Chrome shower mixer control knob ( there is a rubber seal under the not head). If screw removed water then spurts out of the screw hole. Removed unit from tap base and no obvious problems with seals etc. Any ideas please most welcolme.

The only other thing that it maybe is that the pressure is too much for the cartridge.

The cartridge maybe faulty , though , and need replaced.
