Lukewarm shower

Hi I have the colonial thermostatic shower with rigid riser. I have the regulators fitted and can feel the hot water at the elbow but water out if the head is lukewarm unless I turn the handle to almost at the start. I've tried descaling but to no avail.

First make sire that the inlet filters are clean then make sure that the piston is moving freely

then check that the thermostat is working

The other possibility is the handle is out of position.

Turn the shower up to fully hot remove the handle and refit it in the central position then try and see if you can turn it further.
