998t dripping

changed seal before and it cured it for the time being. as we are in a very hard water area it has been leaking again, put another set of rings on today and it still leaking?

First thought is as long as the seals are correctly in place have you greased all the internal components with silicone grease? http://www.showerdoc.com/silicone-grease-tub-30ml

If these parts aren’t greased properly then there is a large amount of friction in the valve and the effort of turning the valve off is not allowing the full force of the effort to be transferred to the seal that shuts the water off.

If that isn’t it then it may just be that the cartridge it’s self is worn
