There is a fitting video at the foot of the page.
And below the link to the cartridge.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciated the advice. I bought the seal kit and it fixed the problem with the shower.
Please let me know if there is anywhere I can leave some feedback.
Thanks,
Brian.

Hi Brian and thanks for your enquiry with the shower doctor,
The shower in your image is based on the Gummers 1850 shower,
Your shower can be serviced and will almost definitely only need new seals fitting to the cartridge if you want to save yourself money. These type of brass cartridges will need served every now and then normally when they start playing up with any of the following symptoms.
If you are experiencing the following problems the seal kit will solve these issues and is the cheapest solution.
Dripping when switched off
Shower valve stiff to operate
Shower temperature fluctuating hot & cold
Water leaking through the front of the cartridge
So i would suggest either fitting another seal kit to the cartridge or replacing the actual cartridge internally.
You can also test the thermostat or buy a new thermostat or piston vis this link provided - www.showerdoc.com/grohe-avensys-wax-element-00798000
This shower and the spares diagram can be found via this link provided - www.showerdoc.com/sirrus-1850-1850-dual-shower-valve-including-sirrus-stratus-1850-shower-spares
You can buy the cartridge SK1850-2 which is what is in your image or you can service the shower cartridge with a seal kit on the same page as part number SK1850-1
The seal kit is the cheapest way of repairing your shower and the cartridge / internals is the most expensive.
You will also find instructional videos on the seal kit page on how to service your shower or replace the cartridge.
A new replacement shower can also be found to the right of the spares diagram via the above link.
Kind Regards
