Bristan Thermostatic Cartridge

Hi, I have this Bristan shower as in the attached picture. Would I be right in saying these are the two halves to the valve assembly? SK1500-3 & SK971006. The issues I having are that the pressure is normal when the valve is first opened, when it heats up the pressure slows right down and sits red hot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You sound like you may have a blocked or restricted filter on the cold side, but check your hose and head are not blocked as well.

Hi Barrie,

Thanks for the reply.

Do you sell a replacement kit for this model? Or is it a case of simply dismantling and cleaning?

I assume you can identify it from the picture?

The above is the cartridge in your shower, and there is a list of the showers it fits into at the bottom.

You should chose which shower is yours and check where the inlet filters etc are and maybe check them to see if they are blocked.
