Showerforce 998t too hot

Hi I have a showerforce 998t shower where the temperature is always very hot. I have tried adjusting using the temp control but it stays very hot. How can I fix this - thanks

I would give it a strip down clean lube and fit a service kit

It may need a thermostat however the normal problem is the internals sticking so it makes more sense to do them and fit the more expensive stat and piston kit only if necessary.
