chamber fully tightened stops the water

great video. I've fully swapped all the seals on my valve, cleaned up and re-greased. excellent job. However, oddly, when I replace the valve back into it's housing and tighten with a spanner, tightening fully, when opening the valve the water doesn't flow through the shower head. If I back it off / out a bit it does. In essence if i don't fully tighten it its ok if i do it isn't? strange!? Any thoughts anyone??? please ..:( if it was just me using it it would be fine, but my wife has big hands and when she turns the shower off she will keep turing it until she breaks the seals again, but in doing so now, she will tighten the vale further back into it's housing, thus preventing water flow.

It may be that the temperature control screw is screwed toofar forward http://www.showerdoc.com/sirrus-1500-thermostatic-shower-shower-spares

(Part 4 / 5)

If this is too far forward it doesn’t allow the valve toscrew home properly, try unscrewing it a few turns and see if this solves theproblem.
