This question is regarding Hager - 50amp isolating ceiling switch with LED WMCS50N

The light goes off and on when the cord is pulled but the electricity appears not to reach the shower regardless of the light being off or on. Is the unit possibly broken? Or does the fact that the light changes mean that the unit is definitely ok?

The neon light in this item will light with very little power.

You need to check that there is 230-240v on the shower side of the item when on.
