This question is regarding Hansgrohe Cartridge For Exchanged Connections - 92373000

cartridge for a tap that was plumbed in wrongly

I have a ecostat universal thermostatic bath and shower mixer tap art no: 13123000 and it was plumbed in wrongly and I need to change the cartridge. Will this 92373000 do the trick and allow me to use the tap again or will I need to replace the whole tap?

If you have reversed connections, then this should be suitable.
