water to hot

I have this shower which was in house that I bought 8 years ago water seems to be staying very hot even when i have conrtrols tutned down to number 1 setting

Check the hose is not kinked or collapsed internally and the head is clear.
Check gauze filter in the inlet to the solenoid valve is clear.
If above are ok then it is likely to be the flow control valve at fault and as this is no longer available a new shower is required.
