Replacing solenoid coil on triton oval 2

Hi I have a triton oval 2 and the solenoid coil is not easy to pull out due to the shower fixing bracket being behind the coil not giving enough room to pull out. What's the best way to replace the solenoid on this model of shower?

There are two ways to do this.

The prescribed way is to remove the heating can , outlet pipe , inlet assembly and the stabiliser valve before removing the solenoid coil and replacing it.

The other way is to cut the plate that is blocking the solenoid removal away enough to allow the solenoid to be levered off of the stabiliser assembly and replaced.
