My Mira shower ran the pump ok, but stopped delivering any water. I realised it was the solenoid valve controlling the outlet. The Mira-supplied sub-assembly is around £40. These guys pointed out that I could buy the solenoid component separately for around £9.
Ordered it on Wednesday afternoon, it arrived on Friday morning, and my shower was back in service that afternoon. Actually, I then realised that some odd behaviours that had been going on for about 6 months were an indication that the solenoid was on the way out, but I would never have worked that out in its 'partial failure' stage.
