The phone advice identified the correct part straight away and the replacement was received as promised the next day. Thanks to the extremely helpful Shower Doctor clip on YouTube it was a ten minute job to install, much to my relief. Shower up and running in 24 hours at a fraction of the cost of getting a plumber in.
