This question is regarding Ideal Idealrain M1 200mm rain shower with 400mm arm (Chrome)

My current shower head arm connects into the back wall of the shower cubicle with a 100mm push fit. Can I replace it with this model? Ie., will this push satisfactorily into the pipe, or does it have screw threads?
