Removal of diverter assembly,Millenia B/s s961333aa

Hi , I have a Swan bath / shower deck mixer tap . The shower/ Bath Diverter valve looks like this but I cannot see how to get it out to Compare it. There are no Flats on show when the chrome shroud is raised or Lowered, There appears to be a Grub screw in the shroud, , But Metric and Imperial Allen Keys do not seem to fit it. it looks like it should unscrew, Problem I have is knob ? water flow not diverting to the shower. Haven't tried to force anything......yet !

This is coming from memory so I may be wrong but I think you put a fairly hefty Allen key down the inside of the diverter which has a Hex to accept it
