This question is regarding Trevi Ideal Standard Dx M25x1 1/4Turn Cartridge Cl Open - A952501NU

A952501NU Cartridge replacement

Hi, If both cartridges are the same ie Anti-Clockwise close, the spindle and central cog of the Trevi Therm will turn both gears/cartridges the same way - meaning the hot and cold cant be on/off at the same time. Could you please advise as maybe I am missing something here?

The gears and the spindle turn them in the correct directions so the cartridges are in the same position , be that open or closed.
