Trevi CTV - Ideal Standard Thermostatic Cartridge replacement

I'm trying to remove old theromstatic cartridge to replace with new one - but it appears to be seized absolutely solid. I've tried to degrease / loosen up but still showing no signs of movement. Are there any hidden grub screws etc that might be holding it in place or could it have just seized entirely? Thanks!

There are no grub screws etc. holding the cartridge in place.

It may need some heat to get it to move.
