Trevitherm Thermostatic Cartridge

Hi there, Been having the devil's job trying to sort the hot water on our shower. I've taken the Thermostatic Cartridge out and replaced the o rings, filters (which I got from here and they were perfect!) and given it a good clean. As far as I can see there are no blockages at the hot and cold inlets inlets into the shower system either. I'm left wondering if after 20 years the thermal element has just packed in and it's time to replace the whole cartridge. Any advice in your experience? Thanks in advance, Vince

You need to check that there is hot water getting to the area of the thermostatic cartridge and if so then you may have a faulty cartridge.
