Shower not getting hot

Hi, we have Meynell showers in our football changing rooms which are about 25 years old. We are finding they are no longer getting very warm even though the hot water pipe gets warm up to the mixer unit.

Is there a filter or something in this unit which may need replacing ?

You don’t mention which valve you have, however the first thing to do is check that the inlet filters are clean and clear.

If there is a service kit for the valve then a strip down clean lube and fit a service kit if the kit is obsolete then a strip down clean and lube, and after that I guess you are looking at a new valve.
