Removing control knob

Can loosen screw but control knob will not move

so as to view inside of same for part number .

My mixer is RICHMOND by make ,can you help.

These knobs can be difficult to remove.

 

Once the grub screw is removed then two screwdrivers leveredforward between the valve and the knob should do it.

 

If that doesn’t work then try a few kettles of boiling waterpoured over the knob that may expand it just enough to release it.

If that doesn’t work then you could try direct heat howeverbe care full not to damage the knob.

 

If that doesn’t work you have two options TNT or cut theknob off with a hack saw (being careful not to damage the valve head work) andreplace the knob.
