This question is regarding Meynell Safemix V8/3 Exp/rec Thermostatic Mixing Valve - Shower Spares

Doesn't seem to be mixing now seals replaced

Replaced seals with seal kit to stop dripping. Now the unit doesn't seem to mix - water either to hot to handle or freezing cold. Changes from hot to cold at about 2 o'clock. Any ideas - turned on an off, from hot to cold multiple times as suggested in manual - doesn't appear to have made any difference. Also made adjustments to the mixing valve head as per manual - all the way clockwise and anti and inbetween, simply changes the point at which the control changes the water from boiling to freezing!! Ideas welcome

It is probably just the piston sticking inside the valve, or an "O" ring out of place / missing. I would strip it down again and re-grease and check every thing.
