This question is regarding Meynell Safemix V8/3 Exp/rec Thermostatic Mixing Valve - Shower Spares

Grease

On stripping down a Meynell V8/3 for seal/'O' ring replacement, I notice traces of grease on various parts. Which parts should be greased and what type of grease and how much is used please? Is it all just silicone grease?

Pretty much smear everything you think moves inside the valve with silicone it won’t do any harm as long as it is a WRAS approved silicone.
