This question is regarding Meynell Safemix V8/3 Exp/rec Thermostatic Mixing Valve - Shower Spares

No hot water

I have a Meynell shower a V8 - Exposed PESM0563P shower, I think. The house was built in 1997. Although the hot water piper entering into the unit is hot, only lukewarm water comes out no matter how far around the lever is turned. Is it likely to be the thermostat and are they available

It is probably just the pistion sticking inside the valve in the first instance I would give it a strip down clean lube and fit a service kit.
