Difficulty dismantling Meynell Viscount SN:004476

Im Having difficulty undoing the Head Assembly of this shower.

I have removed the Chrome Handle, and chrome cover with an allen key.

But, when trying to undo the "Nut" on the Head assembly with a spanner, it just wont turn. I dont want to persist and risk damaging anything (if possible). Any ideas to loosen it?

Thanks

Try spraying the area with WD 40 to loosen it before trying again to get it off.
