Mira 415 grey cartridge problem

I got a new grey cartridge for my Mia 415. No red button and old cartridge was also grey. All has been well for about 6 months but now has started leaking. There seems to be no damage to the cartridge that I can see. The only thing I can spot is the grease which was ready applied to washers on H and C inlets has gone white and congealed all around the cartridge. Is it possible some has gone inside it and clogged it up? Any ideas/advice appreciated.

You don't mention where it is leaking from.....Presumably the shower head.

The grease often turns white and is nothing to worry about.

Therefore my two thoughts are a faulty cartridge or water pressure problem.

The maximum pressure this cartridge can take is 5 bar also the newer cartridges are more sensitive to the pressure than the older ones.
