722 on Combi - worked but then...

Hi I have a client, they had a combi fitted a couple of years back. All fine with the 722 until very recently. Now they can only get piping hot water.

Looking at previous posts it looks like it's not worth trying to fix it as it's designed for low pressure supplies.

Is the best advice to replace for another valve? Thanks.

There is a High Pressure cartridge,

or fitting PRV`s to the inlet pipes, and regreasing / fitting a service kit.

Went round and had a look. This valve was on the previous combi for 10 years. Had a look and it's the temp control lever that moves the splined temp control that's the problem. The splines on the plastic have gone. So no adjustment. This spare appears to be no longer available? I am I correct?
