Does the 722 have the option to fit either a high pressure or low pressure system? New valve fitted recently and no temperature control - it is a gravity fed system and cold seems to override hot

Yes there is a high pressure cartridge is available for this unit, however high or low pressure the pressures have to be roughly equal.

From your description I think you have high pressure cold and low pressure hot.
